SPRING IS A TIME OF NEWNESS

While I have been Cross Training for this trip, about 3000 miles in the past 6 months, God has put new ideas upon my heart. We originally were going to make this total trip in one season. Due to time and me chomping at the bit, I have always been impatient!!, I feel the calling to make the completed cross in two trips. I am ready. My legs and body are ready. The timing seems to be right.   My motivation can be explained as Michael W. Smith sings in his song, "Getting Stronger Everyday", as " I am traveling On the Wheels of Faith"

We will begin the first segment this summer of 2011, with the north to south segment and the second from west to east next summer and fall. This will allow us to be able to not be as pushed for time as well as being able to spend extra time when and where and with who we make new friendships etc.

This summer of 2011 we will begin at International Falls Minnesota and somewhat follow the Mississippi River Trail down to Venice LA. We will stop along the way sharing our story and raising money for various churches we connect with as we travel.

Keep Pray'n and May God Bless You In This Easter Season.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The CrossNAmerica trip is First to be a witness of the significance of the Cross of Jesus Christ and Its Foundational Influence Upon This Nation. Its Even the Glue That Holds Us Together. "LAMININ"

Secondly we are raising pledges per mile or single pledges to support any of the five mission organizations listed on this blog or any other worthy Christian mission effort around the world, locally or globally.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
